One Page Websites Make Me Distrust Companies

I have this weird reaction to one-page websites. From a technical and design perspective, they make perfect sense. The navigation is straightforward - just click a link in the header and it smoothly scrolls to that section. Everything's accessible, loading is fast, and the user experience is clean.

But whenever I land on a company's one-page website, I immediately stop trusting them. The moment I see that all their content is just sections on a single page, I assume they're not serious about their product or service.

My thought process is simple: If they didn't put in the effort to build proper pages or set up a basic CMS, they're probably cutting corners elsewhere too. It feels like they just wanted to get something online quickly to collect emails or sell an unfinished product.

That's it. I know it's just a feeling and probably not always justified. But that's my honest reaction to one-page websites.
