Full-stack development

Full-stack developer for hire

One person for the whole product: the screens, the backend, the database, the servers and the deployment. Laravel and Vue first, but also React, Node.js, Python, Go, or the stack you already have. For companies with no developer of their own, and for teams that need someone senior who can work across the whole thing.

I'm all in on AI. That is also why one person can do the whole product today: with Claude Code, Codex and my own agent workflows I cover ground that used to take a small team, and I stay careful about the code and about what goes live.

I usually reply within one working day.

What full stack covers

Every layer of a web product, and what I do in each.

Frontend

Vue with Inertia or React, Tailwind or Bootstrap, built from your design or from a wireframe we agree on. Fast pages, forms that behave, and interfaces that work on a phone.

Backend

Laravel most of the time, Node.js, Python or Go when the job calls for it. Business logic, permissions, background jobs, integrations with other systems, and tests around the parts that matter.

Databases and search

MySQL or PostgreSQL designed for the data you actually have, Redis for cache and queues, Meilisearch when search has to be instant. I have run search over more than 200 million records.

APIs and integrations

Your own API for apps and partners, and connections to payment providers, CRMs, booking systems and AI providers. Built to keep working when the other side changes.

Servers and deployment

Hetzner or AWS, Forge, Docker, zero-downtime deployments, backups and monitoring. Set up from the start so launch day is boring.

AI features

Extraction, assistants, agents, translation, content. Inside the product, with the checks and limits that make them usable. I have shipped these on four providers.

How I work

You don't need to have everything figured out before we talk. An idea, access to the repo, a screen recording or a list of problems is enough. I look at what is there, tell you what I would do and what it costs, and then I build it.

I use Claude Code, Codex and my own agent workflows for reading code, planning changes, writing tests, refactoring and debugging. It is not vibe coding. It is senior engineering with a much faster loop.

AI-first across the whole stack

Claude Code, Codex and my own agent workflows do a large share of the typing, in the frontend, the backend and the infrastructure. I make the technical calls, review every change, and own what ships. One person, the whole product, at a speed that used to need a team.

I stay in control

AI writes a lot of my code. I still make every technical decision, read every change before it ships, and test it. Fast, but meticulous: the speed is only worth something if what goes live is right.

The way you want to work

Some clients want to look at every change before it goes live, others want me to deploy. Some want a weekly call, most prefer written updates. I work well asynchronously, and I still ask the important questions when they come up.

I think like an owner

I still run my own online products. So when I build or fix yours, I think about traffic, conversion, revenue and support as much as about the code, and I tell you when something is not worth building.

Examples of my work

Products I have built across the whole stack.

B2B SaaS, built from scratch

AI agent platform with billing

Laravel and Vue, several AI agents working together, a web scraping pipeline that gets past anti-bot measures, team accounts, and subscription billing with Spark and Paddle. Every layer from the screens to the queues.

Search platform

200 million records, answers under 50 milliseconds

A typo-tolerant search across more than 200 million records built on Meilisearch, with several layers of caching, an API for partners, and the servers to keep it fast and available.

Backend consolidation

Two backends into one, hosting cut to about 150 dollars a month

I moved a split PHP and Ruby on Rails backend into a single Laravel application as a drop-in replacement. Monthly hosting went from four figures to about 150 dollars, and there is one codebase to maintain.

What clients say

"HIRE VINCENT. Seriously. I've worked with many many developers over the years (remember rentacoder?), and Vincent is that rare breed of web developer who just gets it."

Ariel Ozick, Wired Rhino, Inc.

"Everything stayed on track, both in terms of time and budget. The end result was excellent and has been running smoothly since launch."

Philipp Toepelmann, Digital Investments GmbH

"Vincent works very well asynchronously: communication stays focused, there is little unnecessary back-and-forth, and he still raises the important questions when needed."

Questions

What does full stack mean when it is one person?

That I take a product from the first screen to billing and deployment without handing parts to other people. You talk to one developer, and that developer knows the whole thing.

Which stacks do you work with?

Laravel and Vue most of the time. Also React, Node.js, Python and Go, and I am comfortable picking up the stack you already have.

Do you also do the design?

I build the interface, usually in Vue or React with Tailwind or Bootstrap, from your design or from a simple wireframe we agree on.

Can you work with our existing developers?

Yes. Often I take the parts nobody on the team has done before, like billing, background jobs or the server setup, and leave the rest to them.

Can one person really keep up with a team?

For most products, yes, and often faster, because nothing waits on a handover between frontend, backend and ops. The exception is when you need many things built in parallel, and then I say so.

How do you charge?

Fixed price for a job with a clear outcome, a flat monthly rate for ongoing work, or hourly. Describe what you need and I'll suggest one.

What you want to build or fix and what exists already. A few sentences are enough. I'll reply with how I would do it and what it would cost.
